NCEA Level 1 Foundation Skills - Numeracy
Independent living - Students must commit to the full year for this course.
Level 1 Numeracy is designed for students who would benefit from work which will grow their mathematical skills for success at the new Numeracy Common Assessment Activities. This assessment is for students to gain the Numeracy co-requisite for passing NCEA.
Along with preparing for the Numeracy success, students will do Unit Standards to gain other Level 1 credits. The standards selected for these credits are focussed on the theme of “Financial Capability” which covers many useful issues relating to income and budgeting.
