Level 3 Commerce

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Miss S. Charteris.

Level 3 Commerce

At level 3, Commerce students have the opportunity to solidify their understanding of financial literacy.  The year will include two main projects totalling 15 credits.  The first will involve developing a Market Plan for a new or existing product.  The second project requires students to carry out, with consultation, an innovative and sustainable business activity.  Both standards will be run in consultation with Young Enterprise with key dates and checkpoints along the way.  This course requires a balance of independent and group work, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with people in the business community.  The programme will be rewarding to be involved in, but does require commitment and enthusiasm to see a project through.

There is the opportunity to complete an external exam for those students who need supplementing credits or would like to gain an endorsement.

For further information see:  Miss Charteris
