Recommended Prior Learning

It is highly recommended that NCEA Level 2 Spanish course has been taken prior to electing this course due to the high level of grammatical structures and language requirements. Level 3 Spanish builds on nicely from Level 2. The vast majority of structures and vocabulary has been taught/gained in Level 2 and so this course is an extension of that. Also, if you are considering going to university, and are successful at Level 3, you will not be required to take a Year 1 course in Spanish. You will go straight to 200 level papers, saving you a year of study at tertiary level.
