Level 2 Digital Technology - DTG 201

Digital Technologies are of vital importance to New Zealand’s growth in a modern 21st Century. Students in New Zealand need to develop their knowledge and skills to equip them for rapid change in our society. Semester 1 will concentrate on the development and creation of digital products using a range of data sources and presentation techniques. The aim of Digital Technologies is to demonstrate the application of digital tools for the management, presentation and evaluation of digital solutions, whilst at the same time developing an understanding of the wider legal and ethical implications of using these technologies. We will cover website development with advanced CSS and PHP/MySQL dynamic websites linked to databases.
