Environmental and Sustainability Science (Studies) is a cross curricular course which is available for Level 1, 2 and 3 students. We will be looking at local Science and environmental issues and thinking about how we can make a difference. If you are interested in the future and how you can make a difference then this action based course if for you. We will work on standards from a few different subject areas that explore social and environmental issues. The standards offered in this course are a mixture of Science, EFS, Agriculture and Home Economics. If 14 credits are taken at Level 3 then this course can be used for University Entrance. Level 3 reading and writing credits are also available from this course. The standards are mainly internal, but there is an option of external exams for those students who are interested.

Only students engaged in learning and achievement derived from Te Marautanga o Aotearoa are eligible to be awarded these subjects as part of the requirement for 14 credits in each of three subjects.
