Te Reo Maori - Beg

This is a basic class where you will learn about Māori History, whakapapa (genealogy), whānau (family), pepeha (important landmarks etc.), as well as a sense of belonging through our Uara ā-Kura (school values). This will require you to be brave and step out of your comfort zone as you embark on a journey of discovery into a new world that you may not be comfortable in. To be successful in this class, you must give everything a go - the more you speak and communicate in Te Reo Māori, the more your confidence will grow, and the more your pukenga (skill/s) will develop. Te Reo Māori is a beginners course for those wanting to learn and develop their understanding and level of Māori.
