The Outdoor Education Programme at Level 2 provides a full and exciting range of experiences that will challenge the students physically and mentally and provide opportunities for planning and facilitating key aspects of the programme.

Outdoor Education will enhance skills and attitudes in those areas by providing a framework based on the School Values (Te Awa) at Mountainview High School.  Each term will have a unique focus that will provide the direction for the components and the values being addressed.  There will also be flexibility in what is offered, with some parallel lines of study available, where possible.  Throughout the year we are offering a maximum of 16 credits, based on a range of different combinations of the following assessments and the needs of individuals.
