CryptoSleuth Academy: Cracking Cases with Science and Logic

Do you like puzzles? Do you like crime shows? Do you want to know what it takes to solve a crime?

In this academy we will learn how to think like a modern Sherlock Holmes. We will mix the science of forensics used by real police detectives with the inductive and deductive powers of critical thinkers like mathematicians, coders and modern scientists to solve tricky problems, crack codes and investigate crimes. 

Explore how to understand different types of evidence at a crime scene and how they are used to solve crimes through hands-on activities like fingerprinting and learning how to tell if someone is lying to you. Discover how cryptography and codes have paved the way to modern technology.
Find out how thinking outside the box can help you find out what’s inside it?. 

At the end of the semester, you will “graduate” and be required to use your investigative knowledge to solve a crime.
