Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr D. Martin.
Computer Aided Drawing - Year 9 and 10
In this course, students will develop solutions to a variety of challenging design problems, honing their planning and technical skills. They will use freehand sketching and presentation techniques to communicate their ideas effectively. Students will also produce technical drawings and work with a Computer-Aided Drawing (CAD) program to design projects digitally. These digital designs will be brought to life through the use of Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) equipment, including a laser cutter and 3D printer, allowing students to see their creations in tangible form. This course provides a hands-on approach to CAD, blending creative thinking with technical expertise in modern design tools.
