Level 1 Art 11ART
The NCEA Level 1 Visual Art course is a hands on, practical course. We will develop a range of skills across the year, from observational drawing, perspective drawing, cyanotype, and various painting techniques.
We will work towards one internal assessment (a resolved piece of work), and two external assessments (a 5 credit portfolio of resolved work, and a 5 credit workbook exploring artmaking processes). There will be a written workbook component, alongside practical art making.
Note: N.C.E.A. Level 1 Art is an integrated full year's course of study.
