Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Ms S. Dyer.

Part 1: 'World Tourism'

This course starts by looking at the history of tourism in the world and in Aotearoa/NZ. Part 2: 'Travel Agent'

This part of the course requires students to learn how to understand, plan, and prepare itineraries for tourists, taking on the role of a travel agent. You will explore New Zealand as a tourist destination looking at accommodation, attractions, and events, followed by an understanding of tourist characteristics and needs.
