Musical Production Level 3

Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Mr B. Duncan.

Level 3 Musical Production   L3MPR

Students who chose to take this course will take part in the major school musical production in Term 3.
(Acting, Singing, Dancing, Instruments and Theatre Tech).

In the first semester students will explore the music theatre genre and build on stage skills in the rehearsal of the production.

This will continue into the second semester, with rehearsals and a performance season of the musical.

Achievement Standards will be offered from the Music, Drama and Theatre Technology Domains

IMPORTANT - Individual assessment programmes will be designed for each student at the beginning of the course to suit their level and their role in the Productions - aiming for a 20-24 credit total offered for each student.

NOTE: This course is limited to 10 spots (on stage) at Level 3 due to it being a compostie class (Year 9-13). Once students have completed the subject selection process they will be invited to apply for roles within the production via a Google Form and where applicable an audition. Students are advised to carefully read through and refer to the audition / application pack and to consult with Mr Duncan should you have any additional questions.

If your application is unsuccessful, a feedback request can take place in keeping with audition information & unsucessful students will be supported into alternative courses.

"One show more!"
