Course Description

Teacher in Charge: Miss T. Palmer

The NCEA Level 3 English course challenges students with high levels of critical thinking, reading, viewing and writing. Most students opt to take this for a full year as a University Entrance approved subject. The course will explore a variety of literature and language through different genres and text choices. Students will build strong writing skills through a writing portfolio - assessed in Semester 2.  Scholarship English is an opportunity some candidates may wish to pursue.
