Foundation Science Level 1
Course Description
Teacher in Charge: T. Gee.
The Level 1 Foundation Science course offers students a supportive and accessible program studying the world of science. It will focus on fundamental concepts and practical applications. This course is tailored for students who may need additional time to build their scientific understanding. It’s also ideal for those who have an interest in science but do not intend to pursue specialized science subjects at Level 2 or Level 3. Throughout the course, students will explore essential topics such as plant requirements for food production and the impact of human activities on the environment. This course is designed to be inclusive and supportive, ensuring that all students, regardless of their prior experience in science, have the opportunity to succeed. It’s important to note that this course does not directly lead to University Entrance (UE) science subjects unless students demonstrate the ability to complete AS 92044.
